Detectives from the Yonkers Police Department nabbed a local man wanted for trying to kill the same man twice, according to the Yonkers Poice Department. James McNair, 23, of Yonkers was arrested Tuesday following a lengthy investigation by detectives that began following the first shooting and attempted murder of a 29-year-old Yonkers man, on Sunday, Jan. 14 around 1:42 p.m. on Warburton Avenue, said Yonkers Police Spokesman Dean Politopoulos.
