Wanted Blood Stones Gang Member Known As ‘Flee’ Nabbed By Police Detectives In Westchester

Over the last several weeks, investigators with the Gang Unit developed information on the whereabouts of Rahkim "Flee" Shealy, and on Thursday night, Yonkers Police detectives placed him into custody without incident at a location on Orchard Place. Shealy, of Yonkers, was booked on charges of conspiracy, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon and arraigned today at the Westchester County Court.

Westchester Man Convicted in Violent Crime Spree in Mount Vernon, New Rochelle, Yonkers and Bronx

Eric Lee, 26, of Mount Vernon pleaded guilty to Murder in the First Degree in the death of Trevon Boswell and seven other charges in connection with a twelve-hour violent crime spree that began May 21, 2017. The series of violent robberies spanned several jurisdictions including Mount Vernon, New Rochelle and Yonkers in Westchester County as well as parts of the Bronx.

A registered sex offender convicted of sexually abusing a 30-year-old woman has reported a move into Westchester County. The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert this week to Westchester residents regarding the residency of 52-year-old Kenneth Goode, who has reported a move to a residence on Locust Avenue in Yonkers.

More than 150 jobs are heading to Westchester as P.F. Chang's prepares to open up its second location in the county. With a late November opening scheduled in Yonkers, P.F. Chang's announced that it will be hosting on-the-spot interviews for 168 restaurant team positions from Tuesday, Oct. 30 through Sunday, Nov. 4 behind the Ridge Hill Mall location at 22 Second St. P.F. HFM adult graduate honored with state award

Youssouph Seydi, who recently earned his High School Equivalency diploma through the HFM BOCES Adult Education program, has been honored as a 2018 Outstanding Adult Learner by the New York Association of Continuing/Community Education. Born in Senegal, Seydi immigrated to the United States in 1994 and for the next 22 years lived and worked in Yonkers, the Bronx and Putnam County supporting his family in the U.S. and his parents and siblings, who remained in West Africa.
