The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert on Friday to Westchester County residents regarding the residency of 50-year-old John Vega, who has moved to a Yonkers apartment to a residence on Johnson Street in Mount Vernon.

The Yonkers Police Department and USPS issued an alert on Friday morning announcing that they are investigating incidents of mail theft that have taken place in the city and surrounding municipalities in recent weeks. Due to the mail theft, police said that residents in Westchester County should review bank and credit statements for signs of fraudulent activity and identity theft.

A Westchester County man has been arraigned on a 91-count indictment charging him with allegedly repeatedly violating court issued Order of Protections involving his child's mother and grandmother. Westchester County District Attorney Anthony Scarpino, Jr. announced that Yonkers resident Talib Waters, 30, has been arraigned on 91 counts, including one count of bribing a witness, six counts of first-degree criminal contempt, 42 counts of aggravated family offense, and 42 counts of second-degree criminal contempt dating back to multiple instances last year involving the family.
