DWI Driver Flees Afte Acura Slams Into Bus Stop On Westchester Avenue

A Westchester man was arrested at his home after fleeing the scene of a car crash that destroyed a bus stop and utility pole on Westchester Avenue in Harrison on Sunday. The "gutsy" police officer shot in the face in Westchester County on Monday is expected to fully recover and is already sitting up in her hospital bed, laughing and talking, relieved officials said Tuesday at a press conference.
