Two men are heading to prison after being convicted of nearly beating a man to death during a road-rage incident in Westchester two years ago. Yonkers residents Steven Edmondson, 28, and Christopher Lopes, 27, were each sentenced to nine years in prison after being convicted of several violent felonies by a jury, dating back to an incident in the city in October 2016, Westchester County District Attorney Anthony Scarpino, Jr. announced on Wednesday.

Over the last several weeks, investigators with the Gang Unit developed information on the whereabouts of Rahkim "Flee" Shealy, and on Thursday night, Yonkers Police detectives placed him into custody without incident at a location on Orchard Place. Shealy, of Yonkers, was booked on charges of conspiracy, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon and arraigned today at the Westchester County Court.
