A registered Level 3 sex offender convicted of possessing child pornography and posing online as an underage female, is facing new charges after being busted with more obscene materials involving minors and failing to register email addresses. Yonkers resident Jorge Delmoral, 32, is facing a series of new charges after he allegedly failed to register a pair of email addresses with the State of New York, which is required by the Sex Offender Registry Act following his previous conviction in 2014, which led to an investigation.

The driver of a BMW that crashed on Central Avenue last year and killed 19-year-old Nina Cordero in Yonkers and injured her boyfriend is scheduled to be sentenced this week, when he will face up to 15 years in prison. Yonkers resident Renzo Yance, 22, who pleaded guilty to a felony count of manslaughter last month is due to be sentenced on Tuesday, when he will face a maximum term of up to 15 years in state prison for his role in the Aug. 26 fatal crash last year.

Joon Kim, the acting United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York announced that Juan "KJ" Martinez has of Yonkers been sentenced in United States district court to a term of 30 years in prison for his participation in a racketeering conspiracy and the murder of a 16-year-old in September 2005. Martinez was a member of the Yonkers faction of the Trinitarios Gang, which was formed in the New York State prison system in the early 1990s, Kim noted.

The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert on Tuesday to Westchester residents regarding the residency of 41-year-old Keyan Price, who has moved to an apartment on Moultrie Avenue in Yonkers. The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Price a Level 3 threat, which means he is a "high-risk repeat offender and possible threat to public safety."
