NY announces more security for International

The New York State Gaming Commission today announced enhanced security protocols for all horses participating in the $1 million International Trot at Yonkers Raceway on Oct. 15. This is the first time that such additional safeguards to protect the integrity of the sport and ensure the welfare of horses have been implemented for New York harness racing. The Commission already has such measures in place for Thoroughbred Grade 1 races with purses of $1 million or more.
