YONKERS: Dwanita M. Crosby announced on Martin Luther King Jr. Day that she is taking on County Legislator Christopher A. Johnson.

And James Nolan has been telling folks that he is going to challenge Legislator Ruth Walter.

#DwanitaCrosby has two Masters Degrees, in Public Management and Leadership, and a Dual Degree in Human Resource Management/ Management and Operation and Bachelors of Science in Psychology.

She is also working on her Doctoral degree in Public Management and will officially launch her campaign this weekend.

If elected, Crosby would be the youngest African-American woman to serve on the County Board.
