In 2020 The #NewYork State Legislature Gave The Attorney General #LetitiaJames Even Greater Powers To Investigate Local Police Department Involved Deaths As Part Of New Police Reform Laws Passed In The Summer.

#YonkersPolice Commissioner Mueller Has Confirmed There Are More Videos They Have Collected More Videos That Have Not Been Released To The Public And Are Going To Be Sent To Attorney General Letitia Ann “Tish” James For An Independent Review And Possible Investigation.

#YonkersPD Commissioner Mueller Says The #YPD investigation Has Not Been Completed and No Determinations Have Been Made At This Time.

The Commissioner says has said he has not reviewed the interviews of the Yonkers officers and supervisors involved in the deadly crash that left four dead teenagers scattered all over Riverdale Avenue.

Former Yonkers Police Department Commissioner Charles Gardner updated the department pursuit guidelines after Sharlen Stinson, a a 46-year-old Yonkers mother, and her two children were killed in 2015, when the YPD was chasing a 16-year-old boy and the 14-year-old girl for stealing change from parking meters.
