Man Indicted For Killing A Yonkers Man At The Whitney Young Projects – By Brian Harrod

Terrence Gonzalez has been indicted on a murder charge after allegedly fatally shooting a 23-year-old during an argument at 358 Nepperhan Avenue in Yonkers.

YONKERS: Terrence Gonzalez, 28, of Yonkers has been charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon after shooting and killing Lateef Butler, 23, outside the Whitney Young Manor apartment complex.

After a a longstanding dispute the murder took place on June 26th.

Terrence Gonzalez shot Lateef Butler multiple times and fled the scene.

The murder of Yonkers resident Lateef Butler was captured on video cameras outside the apartment complex, and a .38 caliber handgun was recovered by the Yonkers Police Department near the scene.

Terrence Gonzalez was also charged with criminal possession of a weapon.

Terrence Gonzalez is scheduled to appear back in court on October 1st.
