YONKERS: A 64-year-old #WilliamHines committed three separate robberies, all in Yonkers.
On the evening of January 6th, William Hines robbed an 11-year-old boy near Palisade Avenue and Walsh Road.
Just after midnight on February 4th, he stole money from a victim on Elm Street who he repeatedly punched in the face and had to be hospitalized.
William Hines committed a third robbery on February 12th on Ashburton Avenue.
He will be sentenced on January 21st.

YONKERS, NY — A Yonkers man whose street robberies victimized an 11-year-old and hospitalized another has been found guilty by a jury.
William Hines, 64, was found guilty of robbing three victims and assaulting one of them. Specifically, the jury found Hines guilty of the following:
Robbery in the Second Degree, a class C violent felony
Assault in the Second Degree, a class D Violent Felony
Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree, a class E Felony
Robbery in the Third Degree, a class D felony
Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fifth Degree, a misdemeanor
Sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 21….

A Westchester man has been convicted of multiple street robberies, including one involving an 11-year-old boy, the District Attorney’s Office announced.
Yonkers resident William Hines, 64, was found guilty by a jury of robbing three victims and assaulting one of them, Westchester County District Attorney Anthony Scarpino, Jr, announced.
