A former vacant lot at 217 Elm Street in southwest Yonkers is supposed to become the Dayspring Commons under the management of Westhab
Gov. Andrew Cuomo says the project called “Dayspring” will include 63 units, of which 37 will be reserved for individuals experiencing homelessness
Additionally, the Dayspring will be required to provide local employment, counseling and childcare services through Westhab.
Westhab CEO Richard Nightingale says construction is expected to be complete with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by fall 2021
