Google’s YouTube video sharing site sent an email to Yonkers Police Department notifying them that it had removed a video posted by the department for violating its terms and conditions, concerning community standards about violent content.

The removed YPD video shows members of the Bloodhouse Brims street gang assaulting a 33-year-old man on Thursday, June 17, 2021. The victim, who is clearly seen injured in the video, was left with bleeding in the street.

The Yonkers PD appealed YouTube’s decision in an effort to keep the video up on YouTube, but their appeal was denied.
